Ultrasonic thickness gauge KT-350 uses Echo-Echo Measurement technology for ultra thin thickness. Designed for all those issues where the thickness measurement, are in the order of hundredths / thousandths of a millimeter. Unlike conventional ultrasonic thickness gauges can measure thickness from 0.15 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm, enabling the measurement of very thin parts. Ensures the measurement of all conductive materials for ultrasound.

High resolution and precision
In Echo-echo mode the instrument can measure thickness from 0.15 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm. The improved accuracy of the instrument is ± 0.005 mm.

Materials and measurable speed of ultrasound
Setting the instrument to work with a speed of ultrasound from 1000 to 9999 m/s is possible to measure the thickness of various materials, such as:
Iron, Cast Iron, Brass, Aluminum, Steel, Glass, Chrome, Copper, Gold, Lead, Titanium, Polyethylene, Polyester, Zinc.
In general, all materials that can easily transmit ultrasound.

Single-mode or continuous
The thickness measurement can be made for both single point or scanning. In this case, the gauge properly set, displays the lowest reading in the current measurement.

Single or double point calibration
Rapid calibration on a single point measuring the special built in block, made simply by pressing the CAL button. From the menu you can also use two points calibration using a multi-level block (optional).

500 values and 5 ultrasound speeds memory
The instrument stores up to 500 measuring values. Recording is very simple and intuitive, just press the MEM button in measurement. Thereading of the stored values is made in an equally simple way. Besides the values you can store up to 5 different speeds of ultrasound in order to select them very quickly, using VEL button.

LCD Display
The 4 digit LCD display is very large and easy to read. Esy to read the measurement values and set the speed of ultrasound. The menu is very intuitive and is immediately visible at the top of the display. Coupling indicator allows you to see if the probe is properly positioned on the sample. The display refresh rate is 4 Hz, then the value is updated 4 times per second. The display brightness is adjustable from the menu.
