|
EPX5500 is a portable hardness tester based on the rebound principle of Leeb hardness scale (see Equotip). Compact size, lightweight and easy to use. Featuring low power consumption, provided with internal rechargeable Lithium 3.7V battery and its charger. Many features customizable in menu from which the user can also perform a self calibration using a sample block (included). Suitable for measuring the hardness in very heavy or bulky parts, difficult to access parts and in production. Can test the hardness on curved surfaces using, if necessary, the support rings on the impact devices. It can also measures in any direction, automatically compensating the gravitational effects on the impact body. Can mount the type D impact device, and other five impact devices such as DC, C, D+15, DL and G. Has the ability to store up to 800 values, with easy recall using the touch screen. The instrument is supplied with thermal printer interface, which communicates via IR (Infrared), it is no necessaryconnect some cable and then it becomes easy to create test reports, very complete and customizable, directly on the piece. In the report printed are indicated the types of impact device used, the material on which you are testing, the direction of impact, the hardness value in the selected scale and in Leeb scale, the date, the average of the measures and the difference between maximum and minimum values. Wide measurement range in Leeb scale, automatically converts the hardness in Rockwell HRB and HRC, Vickers HV, Brinell HB, Shore HS scales and may indicate the tensile strength in MPa. Provided with CE marking and complies with ASTM A956-02.
